Detect challenges in meeting the IMO MSC 337(91) requirements at an early design stage. Obtain an optimum procedure to minimize cost and optimize the technical solution.
Challenges in meeting interior noise requirements may be expensive if measures are introduced at a late stage in the building process.
The aim of the compliance check service is to detect possible challenges in meeting the mandatory noise requirements at an early design stage. The DNV team of experts for noise and vibration has more than 40 years of experience in predicting interior noise levels for vessels. The compliance check will result in a “road map” in which a statement of the findings is presented and simple control measures are suggested if necessary to eliminate possible challenges.
This service is offered as an efficient and low-cost examination of a ship’s design.
For special designs with more complex challenges, or if control measures are deemed necessary over larger areas, the benefits of more involved analyses will be discussed.
