CE/UKCA-marking for products within the construction chain.
The purpose of the CPR Regulation (EU) 305/2011 is to ensure the free movement of all construction products within the European Union by harmonizing national laws with respect to the essential requirements applicable to these products in terms of health and safety. The essential requirements are not addressed to the product as such but to the finished construction, which assume that the product is used as intended by the manufacturer.
The corresponding UK regulation is the Construction Products Regulation 2011 (retained EU law EUR 305/2011) as amended by the Construction Products (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, SI 2019 No. 465 and the Construction Products (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020, SI 2020 No. 1359; further referred to as CPR UK.
Manufacturers of construction products can use harmonized European standards for CE marking purposes, which are referred to as designated standards under CPR UK. The requirements in the standards shall take into account one or several of the following essential requirements:

These bodies deliver certification services according to the following products or product groups subject to the regulation:
On request we can audit and certify the manufacturers Factory Production Control system for these product families.
We can also provide guidance and training for a better understanding of the requirements in the specific harmonized standards as well as in the CPR/CPR UK Regulation.
